The idea of INS Malaysia was first mooted on 13 July 2019 by a group of nurse clinicians, nurse managers, and nurse academicians. The pro-term committee was formed on September 2019 with the support of two corporate partners – 3M Malaysia and BD Malaysia, to develop the constitution and the future direction of the society. Registrar of Societies Malaysia officially approved the society as PERSATUAN JURURAWAT INFUSI MALAYSIA on 20 October 2019.
